If the GTI is capable of MS3 matching power and torque numbers with a a $600 chip, why not have it tuned that way from the factory? Does that power hike hurt the motors reliability?

honestly. i dont know, the mk5 motor is strong. it could turn out 420+ with rods and pistons. i wonder what the mk6 can handle?

The later, rumor-to-be super GTI's are tempting. 260+hp with awd. Wish it comes with stick to US.

I'm not sure if I wanna go back to VW again though. Mine had quirkiness.

wow that S3 is a monster. And gorgeous looks to boot. I would love that car!!! 400whp + AWD + Audi interior. SOLD!!!! I guess those motors are sturdy.
