The MS6 Build-a-Beast is coming very soon...(Pics)

Here are some price estimates of what i've spent so far:

PG Shortblock $4995.00
Cams $350
CP-E EMS $599.00
CP-E FMIC $1100.00
CD Fuel Pump $400.00
Boost Guage $80.00
Used Eibach Springs $100.00
Rear motor mount $66.00
Turbo Upgrade $2400.00
Catback Exhaust $888.00
Fluids/Labor/Tuning $4500+
For a Grand total of!= $15,478

Any companies want to sponsor me at some point? lol

And I still need some odds and ends like a wideband, axles, rear diff mount, etc, tires, brakes, then Ill probably need a roll cage for the track.

Cams went to the shop today. Car should be ready for break-in by friday. Everyone please pray that nothing else is broken!

The guy who tunes at ICS is Al Friedman, he is the owner of Dynoflash for Evo's and Sti's. Im split betwenn getting it tuned at ICS or having Sean Ivey do it.

how much is the shop charging you for per labor hour ?

$90 an hour is the rate along with all the other shops in my area. Along with the motor, they also installed the standback, rebuilt my head, and are reinstalling the cams. Taking the motor out, putting the head on the new motor and putting the motor back in took alot longer then the average 4 cylinder r&r.

Yikes that is steep!

nahhh.... thats about right. $85 an hour here at Matchless Performance in Addison, TX, but its less if you work at the shop with them... ;)

Im planning on running enough boost to be in between 400 and 500 whp

i know you already know this, but i would definately not crank it up too much without the rear end/axles/diff built. my .02$

im going to get as much power out of it as possible on the dyno. On the street I will not get on it until those things have been upgraded. Or at least try not to. Or just break them since everything else on my car has broke at least once.(evil)

As long as i dont launch i should be fine. Knock on wood.

I think if you upgrade the bolts on the rear diff and maybe even strap it down to the frame youll be good for awhile....I ve had a couple 6k launches with mine and everything seems ok....I mean s*** all you gotta do is hit a 11.99one time and I think everyone will be satisfied.....Im at 329whp and Im pretty sure that I could hit an 12.7. With another 75whp I know I could hit at least a 12.1.
