Why o why has there been 30 different threads about this?? Has not Spicy repeatedly said she would inform you of the results/status of the impending Injen intake? Well all of you can stop crying now because my car goes in tomorrow to get the final model installed, stall issues should be gone, and hopefully everyone else will be getting theirs within a few weeks. I will be sure to talk with them about the group buy situation, but until I post these results stop asking about the damn thing!

sure,,,,,unless Frog Brothers releases their CAI first.

I guess; really the question is: how many MAZDASPEEDs does Injen need to make this CAI (correctly)?

Of course; in the end - even if it doesn't idle right; it's free for you and Steph. (rofl) (lol) (lol)

I may just stay with my K&N.

.....the last Injen thread ever??!! Uh huh! Like 2 months ago; we thought we saw the last Neon SRT-4 thread on this part of the forum. Last Injen thread; my ass!!!!!!!

Ha ha Jack thank you. I pass the "where is my INjen?" torch down to you. Woo hoo . All of you standing outside my work can go home now

All I know is I'm down for a group buy, that's for sure...please keep me in mind...

AGR - one question - I saw your intake setup, and wondered if you had any problems with heat. That was the big thing with Mk4 VW's (1999 and up), especially the 1.8T (which for this example could roughly be compared to the MSP, and what I had previously). A lot of people reported feeling a loss in performance after a while, just due to their hot intake setup - I imagine any turbo'd car gets a little toasty under the hood!

Did you notice/feel any differences after driving for a while (you and I have a similar commute to work, mileage wise) - does the car seem to run hotter? Your filter is awfully close to, well, pretty much everything under hood...just curious, as I can't decide what to do with my intake yet...

Thanks in advance... :)

My K&N is fine. No problem. When the fan kicks on, it does blow onto the K&N, but there is no issue with that. I am pleased with my $40.00 investment. I did fabricate a bracket to support the K&N. Otherwise; it will begin to sag.
