Motorweek did that with 8 sedans and the Sonata won. Much sharper car, too.
I'm still not impressed with Toyota quality, either. I wanted to add a sunglass holder to my truck and found one in a Sienna. Compared to the one in our CX9s, it's garbage. No push-push clip, just a bump in the plastic, and a huge eyebrow thumbpull that ruins the flushness of the unit. The plastic is cheaper, and there's no damper to lower it slowly, relying on the friction of the plastic itself. The liner wasn't the nice fuzzy kind, but a sticky shelf liner material, VERY poorly glued. (Sloppy glue, and crooked). Yes, it's just a glasses holder, but I find that lack of quality throughout Toyota vehicles. That's why they've resorted to gimmicks.
I'm also tired of their commercials talking about how dedicated they are to safety. I'd like to see a commercial showing them say that to the families of the people they killed because bottom line was more important.
