Have you guys seen this thing yet? It is from PLX Devices and is by far the coolest gauge I have ever seen. Of coarse I just found this days after I bought a new Autometer Ultra Lite Wideband. Doh! (hand)(nuts)(stooges)

The gauge is sick as hell. Too rich for my blood, but would look sweet in any MSP!(rockon)

Apparently it is from a tv show called Ugly Betty. I had to look it up cuz I didn't know either.

Holy Bejesus... that gauge is expensive... but I'm intrigued. I can't say as that it would match my future setup with the colors and all, but that is one awesome gauge. If someone gets this, I wanna see some pictures of it in action. 4 gauges in one, I'm in!

It is expensive but like you mentioned it can be up to 4 gauges in one so when you do the math it really isn't that bad. I have spent over 330 just for my Autometer wideband and boost gauge. Now the reason I picked the Autometer Ultra Lite series is because I think they match the stock gauges the best so I am sticking with them (also because i already bought them) but if I had seen this gauge before I got them I probably would have gone with it. I like how you can change the displays, make your own custom displays and upload wallpapers on to it.

yea, i mean just a WBo2 alone is $300. These are "only" $250. How exactly would you set that up to be a wideband though -- would you have to splice into the existing o2 sensor like a narrowband?

I'm not sure exactly since I have never hooked up any air/fuel gauges, sensors or modules but I know they have and sell everything you need in order to do it. I think they already have a package set up for just such a thing for "only" $400. http://www.plxdevices.com/products/dm100/smafrcombo/
Did I mention how freaking hot Salma is by the way? Every time I come back to this thread to comment I can't help but stare for at least a minute.

i dont know much about guages but this looks like its a great deal. can anyone answer some newb questions? what is a Gauge Visor, Sensor Bung, Bung Plug?

A guage visor is pretty much what it is called, its a peice of plastic that goes above the guage and acts like a visor for the guage.

Sensor Bung is what you will use to put in a WideBand guage if you exhaust alreayd doesnt have an extra bung, But is just a thread ring that you weld into your exhaust piping and you screw a O2 sensor into it for your A/F ratio readings. and the Bung plug is just a plug that you can get to plug a Sensor Bung. It just threads in there and seals it up

Hope that helps.

the last sentence about the bung plug is a little confusing. i understand the other two and from what im reading it seem that the bung plug is what plugs into the sensor bung? so when buying this i should add all three right?

The plug is used if you have a bung not being used so you don't have an exhaust leak.

you only need the bung plug if you are removing the WBO2 for daily driving, for example you only use the WBO2 for tuning and not for live drive ems systems.

I am sure that without the WBO2 sensor this thing is only acting like a narrow band where it says splice into existing O2 wire, which is only acuarate for 14.00-15.01. Our stock exhaust has a tuning bung already in it as does Vibrant's exhaust, if you are getting a WBO2 sensor, so you would not need the bung or plug. Honestly you don't need the visor either unless you are putting it on top of the dash.

im planning on getting the GHL exhaust in a few weeks, do you know if that has with a tuning bung? and can i just leave the WBO2 on for daily driving so that i wont have to plug and unplug it even if i dont need it?

Looks like this is just the display module, i.e. no actual boost sensor, no WBO2 sensor. So yes, $250 for a nice screen, and you still need the things to feed it data.

P.S. I've got a damn boner like whoa at work due to that post....

Yes you can, but it would be be more benificial if it was feeding data to a standalone to help keep the car at its peak performance wise. But you can use it daily.
