With the s*** winter we have here up north, have any of you put back their Racing Harts ( or others ) yet? I'm seriously considering doing it.. and if it snows, i'll just get a lift with someone :)

Heck no....im not in much of a hurry, i dont mind protecting my rims for another month or so...2 weeks ago i banged up my black steelies and had to replace it (thank god alignment is ok) so im in nooooo hurry, if those were my real rims id still be fuming!

I hear ya man. Thought about it myself. But, around here, there is so much sand on the roads, even if there was no snow, the sand would chip the s*** out of the racing harts. I had to wait extra long to get my winters put on, and even the little bit of sand that was on the road back in Nov. did some damage. Doesn't help that those sticky dunlops pick up every single rock and piece of sand they drive over and throw it around. Someone made a small booboo with my racing harts.....so I'm getting some new ones. Only 2 though. If it was 4, I'd have the old ones on now

Anyhow, I got to wait until the snow goes, AND the city cleans up the streets..........that's like MAY. AHHHHHHHH! God help me.

At least my Dunlops will last longer :)

Oh, speaking of Dunlops, anyone ever find a place in Canada that sells them? Maybe an online place? Just curious on how much they are up here.

Yup same here with all the sand still kicking around on the now dry roads itll be a while before i think its clean enough to put mine on...ive scuffed a couple of them so im thinking of getting some white rims for show as well, and just put those on when i really wanna show off, and then use the Harts the rest of the spring/summer/fall

No way I am going to remove my winter tires until I see all that white s*** off the ground...I see a lot of people have put on their mags already but I think I will just hold off another three weeks or so....

By the way, Anyone here get their bushings replaced at Mazda St-Constant?? I just spoke to the service Manager and he said another person changed their bushings...

Also, anyone having any trouble with their tuner?? bad signal sometimes??

my antenna is always down and i always listen to mp3's so i can't tell :)

Btw Mazda St Constant offered me to go there and change the bushings if my dealer didn't want to. But he said if it didn't bother me too much to wait for a definitive fix.

I think i'll put mine next week, or since i'm lazy end of march because i wan't to fix 1 rim first. when i bought my winter tires and got them switched, the losers at my mazda dealership scratched one of my rims.. i'm pretty sure they droped it on the ground ( face first ) or something. But i have no proof.... anyhow the damage is minor but i want to get it fixed.. i was wondering does it **** up the coating on the rim when they fix it?

I bought a set of winter tires (Semperits) and 4 15 inch MX6 rims (dealer takeoffs) to spare my rims and tires the winter.

What happens? No snow (on Long Island) all winter! Then the car gets hit and will coming out of the body shop at almost the end of March!! :(

BondoBob, I feel your pain. I live in Jersey and thought that I should get some winter tires and rims as well. Didn't snow all winter and then 2 weeks ago someone nailed me at a NJ turnpike toll plaza. Won't get it back for another 2 weeks.
Mine is running me almost $8000... Thank god for insurance!
