Less tire sidewall, so you're more likely to damage a rim.
Small sidewalls also make for a rough ride.
Wheels cost much more.
Tires cost much more.
Wheels weigh a ton, detracting greatly from acceleration and braking.
People think they look cool and know they're expensive, so they're likely to get stolen....
