Basically if these guys can make axles for my car, they can make sick axles for your car.

Basically I have a 1998 Ford ESCORT Zx2, yes I said Escort. Im making 352 WHP 309 WTQ ( got dyno graphs ) Tuned at CFM.

I have recentyl prgressed my build to even BIGGER and beter things and going for MORE power!

I swapped in the Mazdaspeed LSD (quaife) and needed not only axles to handle 400+ HP, but 7K rpms launches and 24.5" slicks on my FWD car.

The hubs he supplied as well have been Broached from 26 to 31 spline !

The guy made them in one single day!

I got a big deal on them, it just so happens one of his workers was coming to my town for Vaca, I met up with him.

Know what the best part about this car was, it looked semi-stock, I mean you could NOT see the IC, it was moved back and to the right and painted black, I have the Tial BOV so it wont blow off between shifts you need to be in some kinda boost for it to blow off. the car is VERY sleeper!

From what I can see, Im assuming, Full standalone for fuel and engine, Fully built block and head, and maybe a garret or something similar for the turbo? Whats your full system? Budy of mine has a ZX2 that he wanted to BPT it. Dont know what he has or wants to do with it now. These are good sleeper platforms. You can find my Sleeper build further down this page. Stock block and head, rebuilt stock turbo, Full FMIC, Turbo XS Type H Recirc BOV, HKS MBC, and AEM Filter. Once I get my white one built and running, Ile fully build this one. Im aiming for 325 hp in the end result. Right now im about 200.

NICE. Very nice. I was hesitant to click on this thread, for fear that you had put a body kit on that left a centimeter ground clearance and bright orange paint with green vinyls or something, and a park bench spoiler. But that is without a doubt the sexiest looking escort i've ever seen.



Oh, and I've seen a Miata, a Civic hatch, and a Mini Cooper run in the 10-12 second range, so it's not THAT out there. However, they aren't street legal and God knows what they did to the engines lol.

well kinda off topic aout the axles as I do suggest you guys give a1cvtech a call, the guys name is Marco!


Anyway, I am totally re-doing the car now, I just purchased a Gt3076R Turbo, and making a top mount Manifold. As I just pulled the motor for mnaifold/downpipe mock up, I am gong to check all clearances and makes sure everything is to my liking. A few items may get polished and wiretuck done nicer, When the motor goes back in, its probbaly getting some race fuel and going straight to realstreet for tuning .


actually now that I have yur attention, here is what my plans are now,
The new turbo propbbaly will sit right up by the valve cover, my question is will it be too mutch polished stuff If I do the valve cover?

I mean, the turbo is getting polished and turbine ceramic coated and manifold ceramic coated, the intake manifold will be polished( working on it now actually) and I may do valve cover, will it be too mutch ?

While the motor is out, the bay may get sprayed, Since I have to put the new hubs in for the new axles, They're geting ARP extenede lugs. Also im working on figuring out how to make the control arm bushings SOLID, like put in a spherical bearing in the buishing place......
