Thank GOD For Dead Soldiers!!!

I hope you people have seen the lovely people at Westboro Baptist church protesting at soldier's funerals lately. The group, based out of Topeka, KS, is angry at the military's stance on homosexuality. The church thinks it is an abomination in the worst way to be gay.

There are signs reading "THANK GOD FOR DEAD SOLDIERS", "THANK GOD FOR 9-11" and "THANK GOD FOR IEDS (improvised explosive devices causing a lot of deaths in Iraq).

Now, the ACLU has shown their support to the group. I guess that the right of a soldier to have a 21 gun salute and proper military burial is outweighed by some idiot wanting to spout off.

I work for the TX Veterans Land Board here in Austin TX. Last month we had a solder come home from Iraq and laid him to rest in our new Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. These people called to say they were going to protest at this young mans funeral. But with a Boss like mine (he's the ex senator that authored the Concealed hand gun law here in TX and carries one every were he goes) and the fact that it was put on the radio that they would be shot if they did come, they didn't show up. I would love to meet these people.

wow thats crazy but there are extremist christians,cathilics, jewishs, muslims etc..... Im christian and let me tell you that this is really crazy how they can say they thank God for the soldiers that defend our country they are really crazy and people like that don't deserve to live in this country!! I dont understand it. I mean, each has a right to their opinoun and has the right in the country to express it. Just as the neo nazi assclowns have their marchs and the every other group has their day to protest or whatever. But how in the hell would it seem right do this protesting at someone's funeral? How is that the right venue for this or any type of protest? This really shows the lack of intelligence of these people. I have served as honor guard for two fallen soldiers. One of which was killed in Iraq and the other died of cancer. If at anytime any kind of protest would have happened on those days and ruined that time for the families I know I would have done something. I know that I could have spent the rest of my life in prison for end one of these dumb s****.
