Is this possible? I was playing with a GT tonight but forgot to check this. I know the 6 has this feature but unsure on the 3. Thanks!

Not sure what you're looking for. If you're stopped, it will display the text on the screen. If you're moving, your only option is to have the car speak it to you.

You also need to check to make sure that your phone is supported with this feature on the car. I was told the car would read and playback my emails and texts, and allow me to send them as well. Come to find out that feature is not currently supported with my phones operating system. Not a huge deal but it was a small feature I was looking forward to when deciding wether to go with the technology package or not.

What phone do you have?

I'm using a Moto X and I get the notification that a new message has come in but it won't read it. According to Bowman's link, my phone doesn't have the read text feature. I'm wondering if that's the manufacturers (Motorola) fault or Mazda's because I would imagine that most recent phones released in the past year or so should be compatible.

Probably the Moto-X does not support the BT profile that is required for this.
(BT has many profiles for diff purposes)
