Your invited to join the Houston Miata Club (and the RX-Club of Houston) for the Texas Independence Day Run up to Washington on the Brazos on March 1, 2008.

It's a nice drive and the park is open to all to celebrate Texan Heritage and hopefully we'll have good weather!

Your welcome to make your way home at your own pace. I will be making a run down on the Anderson Loop/C.R.3090 if anyone wants to come home that way they are welcome to join me.

Your thinking of the San Jacinto State Park in La Porte, Brazos State Park is about 60 miles northeast of Houston and we will be taking the scenic (and sometimes curvy) backroads getting there.

Yes, anyone can come, although we prefer to keep it in the Mazda family. The Houston RX-Club is for both RX-7, RX-8 and earlier RX Mazdas. :)

People start marking down who's going, cuz if me and killjoy are the only ones coming then I'm not gonna go

wow...
I hope some people on the rx-8 forums are going
haha
That would suck if me and my friend showed up and no one was around.
Killjoy,
are there any festivities planned?
I might bring a frisbee, get some ultimate going

FYI- As far as attendees for the drive, I will be there riding solo in my 91 RX-7 Coupe.

We have a couple of other RX-7 who said they were coming.
At least 6 Miata
A couple of Mazda 6 (plus the Subie')
A Mazdaspeed 3

Anyone else coming?

Props to whoever picked the route, it was amazing. (even though I got scratched by that electrical cable.)
and the weather couldn't have been better
A/C Off, Windows Down, System Up, With a RX-7 with a beautiful sounding exhaust system ahead of you...
That is about as close to perfection as it gets
any plans for doing that again?
