Test drive w/hubby!

Hey all...... I have the RX 8 and I'm the one who needs some cargo. I finally got my hubby to test drive a Grand touring model today, no navi. Geez, did he have fun with it! Drove crazy with it! He even said to the sales manager....that it "far surpasses my RX 8 and his brand new Mercury Mariner." Ahhh....sigh of relief...he really likes it! Thing is selling my car and deciding on color and package for the new one. He prefers the leather(so do I) and I really want us to stay around $27,000. Doable? I hope so. As long as they are bargaining and really want to sell a car I think it could work. I'll go to Mazda again and build a vehicle. I really have to have the moonroof though. Everything else is no big deal though I'd like the fogs. He seems to want the sand leather so it's not so hot and color, well, we have seen every color but electric blue and icy blue. I like the Copper Red (he doesn't) and I think I like the Blue and he thinks he may too. Are they willing to sell for invoice out there? They should be regardless it's a new car....sales are way down for the auto biz.
What's my point?? I guess nothing...I just needed to share. I have my car in Autotrader site....2004 silver RX8 $19,900 includes winter tires. I want my CX7 help!!!

that gives you all the invoice prices, use that during bargaining.

i got a sport, FWD, moonroof/bose package and 8 way power seat (no leather or navi) for $25000....thats about $250 over invoice.
