I want some 17's I needs to know what offset and rim width would be best, you can post links to wheels, I'm basically taking a poll then I'll buy the ones I like best out of the ones you guys/gals recomend. thanks

i would go with something from rota unless you have alot of money to spend. they are great looking, light, and come in a variety of colors. i have slipstreams but i also like the circuit 8, the attack, the group N, and especially the tarmac. rishie has the hook up on rotas so hit him up. i think you have to go 17x7 if your gonna lower you car. the offset is around +48 i think. good luck

on protegeclub.com a guy named Rishy made a "recipe" for tire and rim fitment. Search for recipe in the title, or "rishy" in the text

Bang for your buck, 5 Zigen FN01R-C's. Brand name, looks good, constructed well, light weight, and the best part is that is cost about as much as some of the replica wheels out there. Around here in So Cal, you can get a brand new set with some cheesy 215/40/17's for about $899 + tax. I'm sure Rishie at AutoRnd can do better.

yep, AutoRnD. Couldn't remember the name. Thanks Exa!

I haven't checked in a while but I thought the FN01R-C's didn't come in P5 friendly offsets?

Cheers,
Scott

The 17x7 don't come in a "desireable" offset, however, you can get the 18x7.5's w/ the +48 offset.

I PM'd Richie earlier, but in the meantime found the info (I'm thinking seriously about these).

5Zigen USA lists the FN01R-C in a size of 1770, which I'm taking as a 17"x7" wheel with a +48 offset on a 5x114.3 with the application of "Prelude, etc."... This sounds like a match!

Not trying to jack the thread... sorry.

Cheers,
Scott

Sweet! Actually, with the 17x7, you can go with the +42 ( a +45 would be ideal but a +42 should be safe). IMHO, these are the best wheels for the least amount of money.
