Tell me about Bose system

Hi All,

I recently bought a 2012 CX-9 Touring that has the Bose system but I want to install a Rosen Nav unit within the next year. It appears that this unit does not cause problems and works with the steering wheels controls but I will obviously lose my Bose radio. I am not an electronics guy by any mans but seems to me I will still be able to use the Bose speakers so my question is will I even notice a difference when I make the switch?

What you'll hear will be the same, since you ar enot touching the bose system speaker and amps, your source is the only thing that will change.

Rosen is too overprice

Rosen is pricey but seems to work with other electronics in car. Willing to pay for no issues, do you know another brand that is plug & play that works with everything?

I did the Pioneer, you loose info usage, but gain a lot more

What year CX-9 do you have and what model Poineer if you don't me asking?

Just checked Pioneer site, they list two Nav models; one for $1499 the other for $999 where the $1499 seems to be closest to the Rosen? I'm not seeing the Rosen to be a bad deal.
