Hey guys.. I really need to drop my Ms6 I can't take the look anymore. There is a local shop here that has a set of Tein S techs for the V6 Mazda6 wagon (extra weight) he recomended I get that set because the wagon is closer in weight to the Ms6 than the regular sedan. Anyone have these on there ms6? Will they be okay? I don't want the handling to be messed up or worse than stock
Please chime on this
Thanks guys..

The Eibach springs seem to work good for those who just want to lower the car.

From what I have read on here and other forums, take it or leave it, is that the AutoExe springs are the best for handling. That's why I got them.

As far as the Tein's go I have not heard of anybody with them yet, so sorry.

Thanks

I need to find someone with a set od Teins on there Ms6. I like the way the car handles stock I just hate the way it looks now so jacked up. I just dont want to add Tein S techs and make the can handles worse than stock that's all

i have the tanabe's installed, but to tell you the truth if you are going to spend your money, spend it right the first time, I'll get a set of autoexe springs later on.

The only guy that I know had Tiens is ATL from 6club. I think he is active here too so just look him up a shoot him a pm. I do know that he didn't like them at all and eventually went back to stock, and I personally would not reccomend putting them in my car. RPM is currently making some very good springs for the ms6, one set with a small drop and one with a larger drop. Here is the http://forum.***************/index.php?showtopic=64258

Springs are springs bro. Wait for coilovers to come out if your really concerned about auto-xing your six. But for looks i would go with eibach pro kit, as it doesnt put much stress on the stock struts.

i got eibach sportlines and they make the look so much more tasty. i have had no ride problems either. And if you live in vegas i can send you to someone that will give you a good deal and do an excellent job.

The spring rates for the TEIN S-Techs are 274/202 (front/rear) while the stock spring rates for the MS6 are 280/185. The Eibachs have a similar problem. That is why people do not recommend either for the MS6. You need to increase the spring rate when you reduce the travel. Will they work? Sure. Will you still have the optimum performance of the MS6? No. The car is simply too heavy to use even performance grade regular 6 springs.

Usually you increase the rate uniformly front to rear when lowering. For example the AutoExe springs are 370/225 which is 30% increase in the front and 20% increase in the rear with a 1" drop. The Megan Racing springs offer 335/250 which is 20% increase in the front and 35% increase in the rear with a 2" drop. RPM intends to produce a set soon that will be 330/250 (similar to Megan) while only providing a 1" drop.
