Anyone know some good crazy techno beats? I'm not a fan of any vocals, but I guess if it's minimal it's ok..just not like some b**** singing through the whole ******* thing. Techno music lovers tell me what you're listening to so I can try it out. Techno/house/progressive..give me anything in any general way connected to this kind of music. s***, I'll go so far as to include industrial..thats right, this is the most vague music request ever really...anything remotly techno let me know people. I need some crazy s***.

I just burnt a cd w/ Garage Nation album. Not too bad..no lyrics, just beats. It's a 2 cd collection mixed.

Carl Cox usually doesn't have too much vocal, makes good beats, he's alittle mainstream now, but his old stuff is good, same with Paul Okenfold (sp?), his new stuff is s****, but old stuff is really good. Tall Paul, Donald Glaude, Sasha, BT, These are all big names that have great older stuff, I really like Glaude because he mixes scratching into it.

How about drum'n'bass, 2step, breakz, jungle, trip-hop, breakbeat science, dub?

Branch out to something besides the monotony of trance and house. Not that they are wastes of time, but there is much more out there.

di.fm is where i go to listen progressive. i have a shortcut set on my desktop that takes me directly to that stream

please do not ever use 'techno' as a general term to refer to dance or electronica music ever again.

techno, in itself, is a subgenre of the dance music genre. it is not the name of all dance music, it's a form of the music like trance and house. then you could break it down even further with sub-subgenres(?) and so forth, but techno is *not* an overall term.

every time someone calls dance "techno", i want to beat them with a turntable until they ******* die.

anyway, for finding good artists and tracks, www.satelliterecords.com has not been beat so far, personally. just spend some time on there exploring things and you'll have a wishlist full of music to get.

everyone can start naming off artists/producers but dance is something that with as many styles as there are, needs to be something you yourself enjoy. just going and buying the newest ATB or Darude track just because someone told you to may be fine and you may love it. however, if you put some timein to it and go play random things to find tracks that you just 'blend' with, then you'll love electronica that much more. ;)

I have Hybrid-Wide Angle in my car right now. Beachcoma (track 4) has a cool progressive beat.

little far away from Techno. The only album I have of BF is "Wasted Again" Henry Rollins rocks, but I am more of a Bad Religion fan myself
