Actually on that run the alternator died, as you can see 10.5 at 112mph.
It was gonna be a low9 high 8 second run....
The car ran 9.8 the run before that at low boost. It was set at high boost for that run...

Holy s***, details on this car? Motor, turbo, trans, EMS? Not an FS I would guess. That is crazy John, must be in the 600-700whp territory. I assume that it was someone elses back when that pass was made?

Yes, it belonged to a guy named Dave. At the time it was an FE3 motor, which is in the same family. Turbo was a GT42, transmission was a GM racing unit similar to the ones they use for the Ecotec. EMS is a custom made one from a local shop. Primitive ( It uses text files for tuning ) but it works...

TheMan (Edwin) wore the same gloves while he built my motor.
I wore them as well. It is much easier to wash your hands since you will be cleaning them about 200 times during the build LOL~!
you are absolutely right.....anyone who has tried to kill a fly tah's in our face with greasy hands appreciated a pair of gloves
