Not here we go again, but maybe we will finally get the real numbers and hopefully a dyno sheet. I know if it were me, I definitely would have gotten the dyno sheets. It's been 16 days since this thread started.
no need in yelling. he did claim at the beginning, which i did read, he was only boosting 12 psi. if that was a mistake so be it. im just trying to clarify, the number keeps changing. thats not taking anything away from his build i just want to know the exact boost he was at, can you read that?
im not gonna argue man, this is all im going to say. at the beginning he said he made 400 at like 12 psi. lets see some damn sheets already! how hard is it for a shop to send u a graph?! especially since you have given them s*** TONS of money already, the least they could do is send you the graph. i guarantee its saved on their computer.

I'm not bagging on the build at all. It's nice to see a car that has the potential to make big numbers. The problem I see is that people like to sand bag those numbers and either say more HP on less boost or more HP than that what was laid down. I just have a very hard time seeing a Protege on 8.0-1 Compression making 397whp @ 12psi. It's just not going to happen. Our heads can only flow so much and the fact that the compression is low is another problem.
I can see why the owner is offended with people dismissing his HP claims. When someone throws this kind of money at a project nobody would want to hear it being talked down. The fact is that more than likely TBK told him the WHP numbers and he is only repeating it. I remember Juan from Hiboost making large HP claims and not being able to back them up a few years ago. I remember seeing a dyno from a guy over seas that had a Hiboost Big boost kit, ported head, 60mm Tb, and cams and so on that only laid down 325whp at 25psi. His build is very similar to yours.
If you go to turbobygarrett and look up the GT3571 turbo, you'll see that it's far out of the efficiency range and would be very pressed to make 397whp or about 475hp.
I would say post a video of the car being dyno'd or have TBK do it.

I was reffering to the 17psi thing. I was just trying to say that he never said he made 397 at 17 insead of 15. People make it seem like he was changing his story again, i took it as he made more power at 17, cause he made 425+ like stated.
So did I. Its very possible that the car made 397whp but not at 12 psi. Not trying to bag on the car at all its a great build, but we really need to see dyno sheets and videos
