Ok, well, working in a dealership i cant say i blame them too much. 1) For doing warrenty work on a car with aftermarket parts <i>relating</i> to the repair is amazing. We dont do warrenty work like that here and no where i take my mazda would do it either.
2) warrently claims generally require a core return to maufacturer. i dont know how they run things and why they wouldnt tell you that in the first place should you have been so adament about getting it back, and thats kinda where i would have my issue.
dealerships work differently all over the place. just trying to shed some light because we have customers that want parts back that we cant give them due to warrenty, if the manufacturer doesnt get their return we dont get paid. something to think about
