Take a look at my new hardpipes

Started late this afternoon. Right off the bat my cutting wheel decided to crack, so I had to stop everything and wait for my wife to get home to go to the store to buy another one, seeing that I had already taken out the stock cold pipe and intake.

I got the cold pipe fitted tho, and should be able to get the hot side done tomorrow morning, and start welding in the afternoon. It is supposed to be a nice day tomorrow in the upper 40's. Today was pretty cold. Anyway, here are some pics of me fitting the cold pipe.

Hardpipes.......Done. Finally had enough time to get them all cut and welded up. Next is paint and the final install.....More pics coming soon.

just gonna slap some engine paint on them, "ford red" to match the engine cover and my strut bar.

Well after two weekends of ignoring my wife and daughter my hardpipes are finally done. I ended up spending around $250 after it was all said and done. They turned out real well i think.

Hey I was just wondering for those who have a short ram intake, if when you get on the gas real hard does your intake sound really loud? At about 4-45K rpms my intake sounds like an elephant. Its only for a few seconds, just tons of air going through a short pipe and makes a crazy whining sound. Just curious if anyone else's does the same?
