Tail Pipe Fell off

Hi all.

Recently i had one of my tail pipes fall off on my 06 MS6. It is the part that is attached to the rear bumper (fake tip) on the passenger side. Now it is just hanging on the exhaust rattling around and being annoying.

Has anyone else had this problem? What do you think my chances are of having the dealer fix it under warranty?

There has never been an impact of any kind (to my knowledge) nor is there evidence of one in the area around the exhaust tip. As far as i can tell it just came loose and broke off. The rubber mounts on the bumper that hold on the tip are actually broken and it is not as simple as just screwing it back in place.

Anyone experience this?

Take it to Kramer, you'll get the best chance of warranty there. Hope you live in the south!

Yah, i bought it at Kremer so that's where i will go. It's going in on Monday, i hope they fix it. I kinda doubt they will since i think it will need a whole new bumper because the tail pipe mounts are all broken. I am guessing they will come up with some story to tell me. I still have no idea how this happened, no sign of any impact (scratches scrapes) anywhere.

So i took her into the dealer and they are going to replace the lower valance and tail pipe under warranty. (alright) I just have to wait for the parts to come in from TO.
