Synapse Engineering Synchronic BOV/BPV

I'll be venting to atmosphere, due to the fact that I don't use a MAF anymore, and run the MAP to the Haltech.

I'm not going to be running the anti-stall kit, and I'm not receiving my BOV till tomorrow (today now).

The valve is ok seems to surge when in partial throttle. Idk why this occurs though, as the valve is suppposed to stop surge alltogether. Maybe you'll have better luck with it.

It supposedly stops OR greatly reduces surge. May have to adjust something. Do you have the anti-stall kit installed?

no, its recirculated with the preset screw loosened all the way. Idk whats going on, its better then it was at first, but the surge is still there.

Well, I'm working on installing mine now. I had to go source fittings so that I can have a boost-only signal. I'm going to tap my IC pipe, coming off of the turbo.

Ok, I just went for a test drive with a few configurations of vacuum hose hooked up to the different ports. The configuration that was the most responsive was the one depicted by the attached photo. This thing kicks ass! I'm not getting any turkey, or surge at all, and it blows off so damn fast! At idle, the BOV looks like it is open, but it is actually doing what is called the Turbo Bypass mode. The turbo is so efficient, that it is actually blowing air out of the BOV at idle (I put my hand there, and feel it), and as a result, the car is more responsive with throttle!!

Anyone have any idea what size the vacuum fittings are? im trying to get a 90 degree fitting and have no idea what size to get. Anyone have a clue?

I was hoping you would do that. Now I know what sized wrench to get. :)

I was under the hood about 30 minutes ago, and found ports A and B both loose enough to turn with my fingers...

Im hoping I can pick up the hose barbs at the local autoparts store. I dont want to have to have them shipped from synapse. Its the only part that is missing off the used unit I am picking up tomorrow.
