swaybars: RB vs CS?

Just got my 2, and plan on adding sways in the (hopefully) not too distant future. Has anyone driven on both setups? My car will be primarily for daily driving, and will most likely see an occasional auto-x. I can't help but think from the specs that the RB setup will handle flatter, and maybe faster. I know on suby's a big front bar is critical to minimizing dynamic camber loss. Anyone found that to be true for the 2?

spend the extra $100 and get the front and rear racing beat set up. the stiffer front, and beafier rear will make give the mazda2 very fast reflexes.

Stiffer isn't always better in a sway bar, otherwise it'd be easy. I can't tell you which company made the better compromise in this case, but I wouldn't just buy one because it's stiffer.

normally i wouldnt either ,but in this case i beleive hes talking about the rear sway bar rb's is a bit longer/heavier

I think I may end up going with the corksport setup, though I've got plenty of time to change my mind since I need to get a mazda5 for my wife before starting with the mods. Since its the day-care hauler and I'm actually trying to do less auto-x and stuff (which is why I bought this) I'm thinking the more mild setup may be the way to go. I also like the way the CS rear bar mounts up.

I'd still like to see if anyone has done a back-to-back comparo since they are the only 2 options (i think).

There is (at least) one other option, Steeda rear bar: http://www.steedafiesta.com/parts/ford-fiesta-rear-swaybar.html (modification to the twist beam is required)

I believe the rear twist beam is the same part for both the Fiesta and the 2. Users on FiestaFaction post about using the CS/RB bars on their cars as well.

I went with the CS bar due to how it attached. Having the 2 as a daily driver in a location where salt is used on the roads, I didn't like how the RB had clamps and bottom plates where it seems like salt could get stuck and develop rust. CS bar seemed like it had less metal-on-metal attachment points.

Great info. I think if I lived up north I'd move south just to get away from the road salt. I hate rust.

I think in most cases, the CS bar would be where I'd go first.

I'll probably be getting the RB front and rear bars for my car, but only because I'm running their springs and I trust RB's ability to engineer a package that works together really well. Were I running any other suspension I'd probably get the Corksport bars.

I bought the racing beat package for my miata years ago. They made a great combination so I would trust them with the Mazda 2. especially at a good price.

I have the corksport front and rear bars so far with H&R springs and I also drive the car over a hundred miles a day in a combo hwy and street. The car feels planted now and no longer prone to hwy wander. I love this setup just waiting on my corksport front strut bar.

Skip the front bar and go RB/CS rear bar only. Having a rear bar will allow the car to rotate into corners much better seeing how the Mazda2 is a FWD platform.
