Sway bar upgrade ?

Hey all, I am thinking about upgrading the suspension and swaybars in my 2003 P5 to the mazdaspeed struts/springs/sways, however, i am worried about the 'clunk' from the sways. I was looking in the sticky for this forum and the only other aftermarket sways mentioned were the SR Motorsport sways.

Does anyone know if these will result with a 'clunk' if replaced?
Or, does anyone have any other aftermarket sways on their protege?

Any input would be great. Thanks. :)

The clunk is from the MP3/MSP part only. The SR motorsports bar does not give a clunk. It is the poorly designed bushings (from mazda) that cause the problem.
AWR racing (www.awrracing.com) also makes sway bars, as do a couple other companies.

the AWR ones seem to be the best I have seen. 19 and 22mm application in either 2 way or fully adjustable.

Get the 22mm bar from AWR. The components supplied with it are much better. It is much more of a complete kit than the 19.5mm bar. AWR didn't do enough R&D with the 19.5mm bar and it gave me major issues using it on the stiffer setting. I had to custom fabricate end links and had to replace the stock bushings with Energy Suspension Greasable Bushings to stop the creaking and clunking. The 22mm bar has endlinks supplied with it and fits much better. FYI...the SRMotorsports 19.5mm bar is an AWR bar.

werd..thanks, im not doing this for awhile but i figured id jump in and get the info now
