Swapping P5 ECU with MP3(turbo) ECU

If someone could tell the info what they flash on the ecu, then I could talk to my dealer here in estonia also and maeby they can do it to mine also.

So Ill be waiting for a good answer

I'm not saying that at all. I'm saying I know most of the techs at my local dealership quite well. And, if the ability to flash the P5 ECU with more aggressive timings maps (MP3) is feasible, I can get it done.

I have no idea if any dealer in thier right mind would do this for just anyone who wants it. That, I seriously doubt.

One thing I do know.... I'll need a VIN from an MP3 to get anything done. Anyone willing to do so can email me direct jmackenz@insight.rr.com

No one's had to find out as of yet. I'd say if they knew you did it, they'd nix your drivetrain warranty. The key is not telling them.

Edit: the above referenced statement is based on an ECU swap with a fellow MP3 owner. Not a re-flash done by the dealer. See below post.

Never too far away....

I think our best bet is to wait and see if my dealer can flash / upgrade the existing P5 ECU. If they can, we might be able to convince the area dealers to do this for a small nominal fee. As long as they're making money, they're happy. Get my drift?
