Surface Rust on Bottom of CX9

Hi Guys

I recently purchased a 2008 Mazda CX9 GT AWD , NAVI, BOSE's 10 Speaker , Leather , Power Lift Gate ETC.

I love the vehicale,

I payed 15,000 Canadian,, The Car has 150,000 KM's

I think I got a good deal because it's hard to find CX9 in Prince Edward Island Canada, but I recently noticed that underneath the car has alot of surface rust on bottom of the car on the floor Members and cross members,

I put the car up on a heist and undercoated the car with Green Rust Check, but I'm wondering if I should spray sometype of Rust Primer over the spots or just keep at it wit hthe Green Rust check

That's a pretty good price. I got mine here in Alberta with 106k 2007 for 16k. Loaded as well.

The premature rusting issue is discussed here somewhere. I believe on the East coast it would be even more obvious thanks to the salt water.

I believe the Rust Check Green is simply designed to prevent rust. I'd probably hit it first with a rust converter. Actually, where you can, you might just want to grind off the rust to be sure, since it almost always will come back anyway.
