You're right, it's crap. Basically folks have found that no matter the size of the electric fan you're running the losses via the alternator having the power the thing will pretty much negate any slight gain the thing might give you.

I agree with Nramsey... It seems to me that it would restrict airflow if anything... Your engine ECU probably wouldn't like it as well. All that extra air, and no extra fuel.... Rip-off.

look the size of the fan in there, you are lucky if you don't get a drop in hps due to bad airflow, don't even think about gaining hps. Its :bs:

It's a "bilge blower" meant for a small boat - It doesn't blow enough air to cool you off, let alone privide any pressure into your engine at high RPM. I agree it would probably rob you of 5 or 10% of your peak HP.
