area 51 i think had something to do with that car (check the SC to TB pipe) and either he is saying they blow s*** up or the fact that they went out of business a couple years ago

I want that supercharger soooooo much. If I was doing a supercharger project instead of a turbo project I could be up and running in a weekend

Area 51 did do the super charger but they had problems in getting it to run correctly from what I understand

I heard about these SC's a few years ago. They were supposedly ubber expensive, and didn't put out as much bang for your buck as a full turbo kit.

Don't care about bang for my buck.. care about simplicity. Yeah, I have 85% of my turbo kit sitting in my basement waiting to go in, but I have to wait until Spring break so I can get the stuff installed and not have to worry about my car being dead and needing to get to class and work and stuff

um, ok....I miss ur point here

area 51 is no longer in business is what he meant. this kit removed the A/C system and ran about 8psi. it made power comparable to the turbo kits of the day but was never a production system outside of the wings west car.

Ya, it made around 200WHP somehwere in there. Not alot. That's why they added the NX Nitrous system!

I think that looks like a block off plate where there was a blow off valve, I assume.
