I was planning on getting new wheels and all seasons at the same time, but i'm not getting the wheels anymore so i'm sticking with stock tires. Is anyone else just toughing out the winter with summer tires or is everyone putting on different tires?

I would highly suggest getting steel wheels and dedicated winter tires. anything else and you'll be up poo's creek without a paddle. especially with the speed3. either that or just dont drive when it snows

How much snow you get? Up here(canada) I would not risk it. Once you try snow tires you will never go back.

Im in the general area as him. I drove with summer performance last winter........well that was a mistake.......lol

You're in jersey and you're actually having to ask this? Get some damn winter tires. The stock rubber is completely unusable in any snow or ice. Don't be stupid and get some damn tires.

I'll dissent. So far, I haven't got winter or all-seasons for my MS3. I do, however, have a Camry with all-seasons. There have only been about 4 or so days that I couldn't drive the Mazda in Chicagoland.

I wouldn't drive it on snow though.

I realize how dangerous it can be on snow/ice that is why i dont drive it in those conditions. I'll be at college next year and will only be home in the winter for about month and a half. I'll be in the city so taking the car won't be an option either. Just not sure if its worth the investment.
