Ok i'm to the point where i need new tires again i got the car used with Nexens on it which i hated these tires i put Eagle F1 GS-D3 and there ok i was wondering should i get BFG g- force sport or toyo t1R or toyo fz4 or if you have any other suggestions

Toyo 4sure

wish i could afford them... that's what i had when i first got my car ToyoProxy4's 215/35/19

after buying a set ($250 a tire) i said damn that's expensive.... now i just use the cheapest tires i can find... as long as there Z rated i'll be fine

What kind of tire are you looking for? Performance, all-season, etc? I have the Kumho Ecsta SPTs and have no complaints. They're good for a street tire but if you get into tracking or spirited mountains runs or whatnot I think you'd find them a little lacking. Performance-wise a lot of people swear by the Falken Azenis RT-615s although the design is a little aged. Along the same lines are the Hankook R-S2s but of course with both of these your treadware is going to suffer. If you're looking for just high-performance or all-seasons however there are just too many options to list.

I have the Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712s... dont think they make these anymore but I freaking love them....I live in northern california and where I am at it does not snow, these tires are fine in the rain when driving normally. If I do drive somewhere with snow and ice, I take the wifes 3 although come to think of it, I have UHPST on the 3 now too lol...those are Riken Raptorz ZR and I love those aswell. Got the set of rikens for like 250

I need to get some new tires soon as well. The Kumho SPT's will run for about $620 installed... at least thats the quote I got. I'm a big fan of Toyo Proxy's also... use to have them on my Lancer, they just cost a pretty penny. But the MSP came with Bridgestone Potenza RE040, which are also not to friendly on the pocket.
I also got quoted $685 installed for a set of Continental ContiExtreme Contacts.. That was his "high end" tire. Otherwise he also has a low end tire, Rikens for about $410 installed.

Personally.. I never go to a low end tire, not worth it. I'd definitely recommend Kumho's or Toyo's... Big fan!

I'm debating if I should just get a whole new set of rims and tires since my cousin can get me some XXR rims and tires (17s or 18s) for about $500 out the door... tough decision

well the gs-d3 let me add are so terrible in the snow so i dont want an straight performance tire but i was kind of thinkin of trying the proxes but this is my DD that i love racing with but i know a couple of people have the BFG and they like them but my other buddy had the fz4 and he likes them but for some reason his wore out real fast so i duno what to get prob BFG

Also has anyone tried Nitto neo-gen i had the nt-450 on my old and loved those and my buddy has these on his turbo celica gt-s so just wondering if anybody has had these on our cars and there pretty cheap 84 each and lucky me i can mount them at work so if anybody close wants to get some mounted let me know

NITTO NeoGen FTW,
running these for 5 months now , couldn't go wrong.
Keep the pressure 35 on summer and 32 on winter , you'll love em winter or summer or rain .

I bought a Nitto gen II's. Two weeks after buying them my wife was driving it and a steel plate (2'X4') fell out of the back of this flat bed. Destroyed the driverside tires so i put those on the back and she bought cheap continitals for the frount since i was out of the country for the next 2 months. I got home and within 4 weeks the continitals were shot. I got the Proxy 4's for the front and just left the nitto gen II's on the back. Well to date now about 8 months later my Proxy's are at about half tread and the nitto gen's are about 3/4 left. The front where all the weight is the Proxys hydroplane but the back stays put. Then i switched them around and the problem switched with them. I swear by the nitto gen's. Better girp wet or dry and plus they are not unidirectional so you can rotate them like normal car tires.

i have Nexins, they are extra load for sidewalls for taking the turns and a really sweet tire, and only 110 new per

Well... for 110 you could also get those. Which are F'ing awesome from what ive heard. Nitto is owned by Toyo, so their stuff should be good.

It depends on what you do with your car too. No point in getting those if you just drive around and dont care for performance.

Oh i def. push the car hard so tires mean alot to me i bought the car with nankangs on it the worst things ever
