Well just to give you all an update, I got the header in tonight. We did not however have fun at all. Once we undid all the block bolts, and jacked it up, it started to rain. We figured it wouldnt be too bad and muscled on. We finally got down to the messed up bolt, and attached the Craftsman #9 Bolt off. All went smooth untill the head of the bolt began to twist down the shaft! Then it finally stopped so we figured now we would be moving the bolt out of the nut harness. Nope. We ended up breaking the head of the bolt off. Not the end yet either. The bolt was still in the nut. We got that out using the bolt off again (luckily). So alls good right? Wrong.We finally get all the other bolts off, and we are getting pooned trying to remove the cat and the downpipe. 1 stupid screw is holding it by about 3 threads and we cant wiggle it out. We eventually just bend some metal and volia its out. Keep in mind we are currently out 1 bolt for downpipe to second cat. So now its time to get the vibrator ring off stock. WTF HOW IN THE HELL!!! we took a strap wrench to it, we to a flathead to it, we took pliers to it. And eventually destroyed it. Now we are down a bolt and a vibrator gizmo.Its also late so we cant go to a store (we tried but they were all closed). We just go ahead and put the thing on. O yea, after we took the block bolts off stock, it got to about 40 deg. F and windy, and rainy, and we were outside! So were freezing our asses off, doing a super half ass job, and somehow not complaining too much. Now its on, makes a bit of a rattle noice, or should i say LOT of rattling. Tomorrow were going to get the OEM parts, and hopefully it will be better. If you can get the rattling to stop, it does sound kick ass to the maximum! Anyway im done bitching. Carry on.
