Sub+ Amp Installation/ Stock Head Unit

Looking for some assistance with install of a sub and amp while keeping the stock head. I have an 09 Speed3.

What is the best way to do this? Do I need to wire the sub into the rear speakers, or is there a way to tie into the head unit. I will be running a single sub with a mono amp.
