Stutter/Hicup + flutter noise + smoke out exhaust

As the title says I have been having some form of this issue for a while now, it's been worse lately.
Car Facts
64000 miles, 2008.5, mods in sig, all freeway commuting, original Plugs

Like I was on the freewaygoing about 70 and I down shifted to 5 and gave it about 60% throttle. For a split second it is fine then I lose all power, the car engine kinda hicups, and I hear a noise that kinda sounds like an air flutter. Today I saw a bunch of smoke or somthing come out the back too.
Again, this has been happening for some time only on the freeway in 4-6 gear when giving heavy throttle.

Any ideas?

My theory is the engine is getting all this fuel and cant/won't burn it so it cuts it and it all gets shot out the back. But I really don't know much. I also know I need to replaced my plugs.

Thanks!

Yes. Plugs. Make sure you use stock heat range and make sure to check gap for .030. And make sure that bov is full recirc or put excellent stock bpv back on.

It's funny you mention the BPV, it is full recirc however i have a slight tear in the hose right where it meets the BPV. I've been looking for a new hose; what would this possible leak in recirc air do?

Which hose? The little one (the vacuum/boost control line) or the big one (recirc back to intake)? A leak in either could cause part throttle drivability issues.

Looking for a new hose? They're about $0.10 per foot at your local auto parts store ;)

Yes its the big recirc hose, the problem trying to replace it is finding one that will go under the cobb SRI tube and make it back up to my SYnapse BOV without kinking (unamused)

Hey found this, pretty much sounds like what I am tryign to describe.
"Could be. I noticed it a few times though where I am going down an on-ramp to the highway and I decide to "get on it" a little to get up to the speed of traffic to merge. I will hear what almost sounds like plastic intermittently rubbing asphalt and it feel like I have power loss. Im not sure about the revs at which it happens but I believe it is around when the turbo is supposed to kick in ( ~ 3000 or so). Sounds like its coming from the passenger side of the engine."

"Yeah that same thing happened to me on a long trip to Iowa. I had around 7-8k miles on the mazdas odometer. Still almost new. I had already gone 600 miles and had about 200 to go till I reached my destination and suddenly It made that same plastic like grinding noise with (how can I explain it?) sand blast blowing in the engine bay noise and I started loosing boost. There was no sand or dirt anywhere on the HWY or around.
I stomped on it just to make sure and the boost totaly hesitated. After a few seconds wich seemed like minutes boost came back. "

Could this be boost or fuel cut? Not sure what either feels like.

You should be able to find a 45 degree teflon barbed hose fitting at like menards to fix the kink.

Changed the plugs over the weekend and fixed the rip in my recirc hose. So far I can't reproduce the problem however the car feels slightly slower than it should be. I may have a slight boost leak somwhere, maybe only a pound or so off. I need to replace my BOV vacuum lines and tighten everything up.
