So iv had my ms3 for little over a month now. Last night i was drivin the back roads and dident notice that the turn ahead was newely paved and had that black gravle s*** on it. going around the turn little faster than posted but nothing the car couldent handle with ease, i hit the gravle and slide into the curb, slaming my front right rim into the curb. Turns out i bent the rim and jammed the stearing rod says the dealer. $2300 bucks for parts and labor. and i wont get my car back till friday :(

Don't want to claim insurance???
Just say a deer ran in front of you, while you were distracted by sneezing and didn't notice the child on the unicycle playing in your blind spot, so your only option was to swerve into the curb...

Really, insurance would cover the repairs...$500 deductible is better than $2300.00

yea i know but it will make my insurence go way up if i claim it.

I've had 2 claims on my insurance...1 was a hit and run in my parking lot...and 1 was a "wolf" sized dog I hit...

Case#1 was $6,500.00 damages
Case#2 was $1,750.00 damages

In both cases my insurance had to eat it, and my rates didn't change.

In both instances the insurance adjuster, and the accident report guy didn't question my description of events. Just sayin...insurance is there for this and you should take advantage of having it.

Also got a ticket for 84 in a 60, my insurance didn't go up...lol...pays to be on the "good" driver list...

s*** happens I had an accident a little while ago and hit a curb pretty hard due to understeer and some gravel. I got lucky though, my friends dad is the service manager and got me fixed for $1000 plus $200 under the table to a mechanic that works there.

Wow, that looks horrible...did the repairs come out well? Replacement wheel as well?

yea thats exactly how mine was only the rim was worse and in the front.

and yea i did call, im a 19 year old male, they charge me way more just cuz of that. Then i got a ticket. so it will go up some if i claim tihs, then if i get anything else on my insurence it will double.

That sucks man. I was $250 out of pocket for deductible two weeks ago because someone two lanes over hit a big ass water cooler and it slammed into the front of my car. I'm 24, but my insurance isn't going up :/

It usually doesn't if it's a "no fault" claim, but I'm guessing they would classify your's as "fault."
