Stupid Bumper Stains!!!!!!

I was washing my car today and i noticed blackish water drip marks on the back bumper that doesn't come out!!:mad: :mad: :mad:

yup........if you have a white p5.....u can even see these orange dots......think they are called road tar..........not sure......
You can try this......go to Canadian tire.....and buy a bottle of cleaner called Bug and Road Tar remover. it a black bottle........dont know if it works....but its worth a try......

im experiencing the same prob..

when i go to the car wash, after they finish i take a damp towel and use some elbow grease in a circular motion to take out these stains they do come out tho....

i think its because mazda didnt use a teflon protective coating or something like that.....

Funny you guys mention that cuz I noticed the same stains but on my side spoilers. This road tar remover wont hurt our "thin" paint...will it??

I asked the owner of a body shop what caused those rusty orange specks on my previous silver painted car, he said that they are caused by brake "dust". This is a rather new problem since brake pads are now metallic, and the dust created corrodes almost immediatly and it sticks to paint. Buffing removes them easily. My P5 is red so I don't see them anymore

There is this thing called "clay bar" I will get the exact name tonight when I get home. It works great for rust dots and tars that gets into your paints. One of my friend drives next to the train track every single days and he gets this rust dots everywhere in his car. It took us about 3-4 hours to get all the dots out from his car but when it was done, it looks just like a brand new car!!!

There are a number of different manufactures of clay bars and they are definitely good for getting those spots out and other smudges/blemishes too that look like they won't come out. Most everything does, it just sometimes takes a LOT of hard work to get it off.
