I can't tell you how, or if, the light can be changed but I can tell you that the mirror I got from the same vendor you won from ships really quick and packages really well.

Readout colour info

I spoke to a dealer about these mirrors. Like this last ebay auction states the only two manufacturers of these mirrors are the Donnelly and Gentex company. All the mirrors with readouts beneath the mirror are made by Donnelly all mirrors with the readout within the mirror are made by Gentex. Homelink is only available in the Gentex mirrors. The Gentex mirrors readout can be changed to any colour by a supplier but the warranty will be void if you buy it new because the mirror has to be opened to change the lens colour. The Donnelly mirrors with the readout at the bottom cannot be changed they are only available in green or now blue readout.

Yeah, they sent me SUS-1077 instead of SUS-1070. 1077 is rear chassis braces for sedan & they are like gunmetal grey with bluish tint. The 1070 is front stb for my P5 & the ends are very blue with aluminum bar.

It is still in the box that it came in. I am waiting for warmer weather to do the install.
I did however do this same switchover with my '05 Magnum and found that the install was straight forward.
 
cool... thx. I will be doing it in my garage as soon as I get it... (on the weekend)... I'll let you know ! Only thing I am wondering is where to get through the firewall...
