Stuck Oil Filter

I just did an oil change on a brand new 2005 Mazda6. The oil filter was stuck on ridiculously tight. I tryed a regular strap wrench...didnt work. Then I screwdrivered the side of the filter and ripped through the side the filter and bent my screwdriver in half...didnt work. Then I used a chain wrench. This gripped the filter so well it was like it was never stuck in the first place. I used one like this... https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned)

If that doesn't work you need a mechanic.

were you using the $.89 wal-mart screwdriver? The 1st oil change is usualy like that for the spin on filter.
