Stuck BOV?

Is this possible? I've had some issues that I think could be from the BOV. When I first installed the kit the turbo "whistled" nicely and when I changed gears the BOV sounded great.. but now it sounds like its releasing air all the time... the spool or "wistle" is overshadowed by the releasing sound of the BOV,,almost like its releasing air the whole time through full boost and everything.My car doesn't pull anywhere near like it did at first and sometimes when I'm in boost (after the spool up) it doesn't pull at all and all I hear is the BOV. I've checked all hoses pipes. NO leaks or anything.

Any solutions?

some brands of bov's get stuck sometimes, what brand is it?

I think its the cheaper mitsubishi.

If I were you I would upgrade it to the standard HKS bov......about 70 dollars if you like that style or just get a better unit. The type-s has been flawless on the past 3 cars I have owned

but will it work with the BEGI kit? I think smp300 tried that one and it didn't work?..

Any BOV will work with any kit. Many miata folk use different BOV setups on there begi/FM kits. All you have to do is get a flange and weld it on the intercooler pipe. And yes the BOV that vents into the atmos will work with our ecu's. There are 2 pros out there utilizing this setup currently. One Greddy type s and an HKS ssqbov(perhaps the best BOV ever made in my opinion) And if you think your mitsu sounds sweet, then try hearing a sweet JDM BOV trumpeting into the atmos.
Call me ricey but I love loud ass BOV's they sound so sweet
