stroker kit?

much simplier than 12 inches = 1 foot. 3 feet = 2 yard 2000 yards = 1mile
Actually, it's more confusing than that!

12 inches = 1 foot / 3 feet = 1 yard / 1760 yards = 1 mile

Don't forget, 220 yards in a furlong, and 8 furlongs in a mile.

Hehe, my car does the 2furlong in 15.7@86

quick question...off topic but how do they measure ocean distances in metric... I know there is nautical miles...is that what everyone uses...i know its different than and SAE mile. just to get those noodles working.
oh and about the stroker...if anything u would want to de-stroke the fs....but none of it is worth it in my opinion.

the only sea measurement in metric is... surprise surprise.. KM!!!!

the only other measurement is knots, but you don't be mesauriung distance with that one

gen1gt and ahb11m are the winners!!!(first)
Do you sail/boat? I have a question though...how do you know how far you've gone, when there isn't solid ground under you?

Talk about a warped thread......(jacked)

Today its GPS...Before I have no idea...and what do they do in currents...If a ship is traveling against a current, they are traveling at a much less velocity relative to the sea floor than relative to the water...that was a physics problem in high school...But do they correct for that, or just never travel against a current???

Instead of miles/hour, they measure in leagues/week....

1 league = 3.45233834 miles

sea and air travel is measured in knots (as far as i know), heights are in feet, and blah blah blah... can you imagine trying to change every airliner in the world to metric? while it would be sensible, something would get ******

a nautical mile is a measure no where near a mile, but is in fact some thing that is taken from longitude, and latitude

and while we are on it, what is 0 and 100 farenheit relevant to??
celcius 0 is freezing water, and 100 is boiling water
kelvins are just a shifted version of celcius, whereby 0 is absolute zero, ie you can't get colder than absolute

0 and 100 are pretty much meaningless in F measurments, there is a formuls for it i learned 6 times in chem classes but am too wasted to remember it now...basically 32F is freezing and boiling is somewhere in the 2xx or 3xx range, damn i cant remember s*** right now =) good night

0 C = 32 F
100 C = 212 F

X C = X * 9 / 5 + 32 F

X F = (X - 32) * 5 / 9 C

certainly did

i think the best thing of the metric system is that it's easy - everything is in groups of 10/100/1000 etc.

10mm = 1cm 100cm = 1m 1000m = 1km
1mg = 1g 1000g = 1kg 1000kg = 1 tonne

much simplier than 12 inches = 1 foot. 3 feet = 2 yard 2000 yards = 1mile
i have no idea about weights or volume measurements (ie gallon etc)

Measurement
1 pint=16oz
12oz=355mL Coke Can

so 474ml is a pint of guiness, and 375ml(?) is a schooner
hmmmm so why does ted come in 345ml ?? americans you'll never know.... umm its a metric beer

The world challenge cars upped the bore to
84.5mm Bore (compare to 83mm) gave them 2064cc displacement
would it be worth it to do this with maybe 10.5:1 comp ratio?or would this be a waste of money?

Totally worth it. A larger engine is more power AND torque. Personally, I've changed my mine, and I'm getting 11:1, 85mm pistons now, instead of the Miata 83.5, 10:1 pistons. Displacement won't hurt.....

i'll eventually go for 85mm pistons too. the best part about doing this is you're getting the bore to stroke ratio up
