This guy must have been going very fast.

Or, he might have kept his foot on the gas thinking he was on the brake. I've seen that many a time around here...Not the house bit, but keeping your foot on the gas thinking you are hitting the brake.

Apexi, do you know the story that goes along with these pics? Are they real, or are they photoshopped??? It seems like too much velocity for the cars front end to still be there in the last picture. Going through 3 or 4 walls of 2 by Doug Fir framing, 1/2 sheetrock, exterior AP sheathing, and the nose not be in the back seat?? Cool pics, but not sure if it is physically possible. Let em know.

the nose of the car is bent to hell though you can see the last pic!, dry wall is not very tuff, you can punch a hole through any dry wall with your fist :) now imagine if your fist was 3000lbs, :) but your right i think the drive would realise that he isn't stoped and he should step on the break sometime between the first and 2nd wall

I had a 95 Impreza (same body style as that one) before I bought my 6. My wife hit a dog doing about 70 in that car and it put a nice bend in the bottom bumper as well as caving in the radiator mount and bending the radiator/condenser. I agree the car doesn't look quite as deformed as it should've been, but the pics do look real.

I don't see the pics. It says where the pic is that you have to upgrade your account to link pics. ???

damn....if they would have stayed on the gass just a LITTLE more they could have taken a hard right and exited out the front yard and made a clean get away!!! lol

Just so you know, they don't build houses that well anymore. Being a veteran of hitting a house before, the front end of my car was in perfect order. The fence that I went through did more damage because of the piece flew through the air and smacked the top of my fender.

I put a hole completely through the side of the house, siding, sheet rock, etc. all that is involved with an exterior wall coming in from the outside. The corner of my car was perfect.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!

One word: WOW. Imagine getting some nookie from the wife and then hearing WHAM! And seeing a car next to you...I'd be SO friggin confused.

don't know...but the weather was nice that day...can't blame in on wet roads....

and something else you may have noticed...it happened in some sort of housing development or apartment sort of place....seeing as how ALL the houses are the same.....same siding...same roofs....either that or the entire neighborhood have the EXACT same taste! lol

Yea, working construction for 4 years really makes me say that these pics are not real. It's just not convincing.

Not to worry...the "photoshop files" investigative team is here...step aside...lol

Here we go again...

Photoshop Files agent #5617181 reporting:

1) The reflections of both the window light and incandescents look right.

2) Comparisons of the shot from the rear and the shot from the side (exit point) are close enough.

3) No "smudges" on key locations (around car, walls).

It is my concerted opinion that it is real. If it isn't, it's darn good.

Final observation: If it isn't real, I only wish they would have included a dead body in the living room.

Agent #5617181, out.

OK, OK, I guess you guys know what you're talking about.

I have limited experience with photoshop, however, i am using it in an increasing capacity daily. Seems there is an exponential learning curve.

One thing I do not undertand ~~~ No sheathing on outside walls in the pic taken from yard. Also, upon entering the house, he would have stopped almost immediately. Hitting 5/8" ply, and going through 2x4 douglas fir studs, plus taking out the door jamb, with proper door framing would have split the car in two. However, i won't question your "authority" with photoshop. Anyway, cool pics, and just glad its not a P5 or MP3, and its a Subbie.

I refer you to my last post...Houses aren't as strong as you think. The only thing that stopped my car fomr entering completely was the bush that caught my car, that and I had about 30 feet from the first object that slowed me down to the house, with about five other objects in the way that slowed my momentum. Not to mention I was trying to slowdown before I left the road and entered the first backyard.

I put a two foot round hole completely through a house wall with no damage to my car.

I have no doubt that someone could go that far into a house given the proper conditions.

Tell us the tale!
