Just was wondering if any MS3 owners have noticed a faint grinding/almost abrasive sound when their ms3 is idling and the clutch is disengaged. Amazingly it disappears when I depress the clutch. I don't drive the car hard so no issues with overuse/abuse, so it has never been a concern for me until I returned from a 120-mile trip. I pulled into my driveway without issue after my trip, but like always decided to let the engine cool. And that ever-present grinding/abrasive sound turned into a squealing harpie sounds. Almost like a bad bearing or an A/c clutch going bad...I know that is not the problem I presume. It hasnt happened since then with several hundred miles acquired, but I still get that same almost inaudible abrasive sound every time I disengage the clutch. Im worried that overtime and with more miles that a serious problem will develop. God knows that if I take it into a dealership now, they would laugh at me. But if someone could give me some verbal ammunition to back up my concernsthis would be much appreciated.
