stolen mp3

What's up everyone. I don't write much on here anymore, but i just wanted to let everyone know that my blue mp3 was stolen today, 9/14/03 at around 12pm. i go to school at fairleigh dickinson university, madison campus and it was stolen from the lot...driver window smashed. i have no front license plate, a mazdaspeed window banner, yellow calipers, a silver pinstripe, and a mazda logo on the front fenders. i have lojack installed but if anyone sees this car cruising around please notify the police. license plate #LYS 86G.

thanks everyone

Jay

let us know if lojack helps you out. sorry to hear your car was stolen, I know I would be pretty depressed if mine was stolen.

What's lojack?

It's a radio tracking setup that is mounted into cars. It will work whether the battery is in the car or not and supposedly has several transmitters throughout the car.

If you ever see a police car with 4 identical antennas mounted in a square like pattern, that car is setup to track lojack equipped vehicles. Usually, the turnaround is pretty quick.

that sucks man, look on the bright side, with such a small market for the mazda MP3's..if they part it out, you'll know where it'll turn out. good luck with lowjack.

yeah i woulda figured lojack woulda been helpful by now. they guy couldnt have been that much of a professional..my window was smashed. AND...my friend was leaving school right at 12 and saw this kid sitting in my car in the parking lot just chillin. my friend was already on the road, so he couldnt stop the guy. instead he called my friend cuz my phone was off, and my other friend saw the kid leaving behind a red civic. it was only gone about 30minutes before i found out. an f'n half hour. sooo pissed

Damn, hell yeah, they should have followed it. I know I would if I knew something like that was going on.

yeah

so they found it. it was in irvington, nj. they found it monday morning, but i havent seen it yet. you wouldnt believe the s*** i had to go thru just to get it back. insurance and registration were obviously gone. had to make a total of 4 trips to the irvington police station. my body shop went to go pick it up from the impound today...my mother and sister saw it but i havent yet cuz i dont live with them. radio and whatnot is gone...hopefully i'll make out better than i went in. thanks guys
