Stock wheels, aftermarket lugs..ok?

hi guys,

sorry if this is a naive question..but is it ok to use aftermarket lugs w/the stock ms3 wheels?

i'm planning on having my wheels powdercoated black or gunmetal, and have a nice set of black volk lugs laying around..just wondering if it's safe to use them on on stock wheels. i do realize some lugs are shaped differently..
