stock STi BBS wheels

I think I know the answer but I just wanted to confirm whether the 05+ BBS rims on the STi would fit a Pro5. Bolt pattern is 5x114 and the rim is 18x8 but I don't know the offset. I might be able to pick up a set at a decent price from a friend later on.

yes, it's 5x114.3, but can our cars hold an 8 inch rim without some fender/suspension isssues?

It's all going to boil down to offset. Too much and you'll be rubbing on the inside. Too little and you'll have to worry about the fender slicing up the tire. But, there is a guy with a P5 running 18x8" RX-8 wheels with only minor rubbing on the outside. So, you might luck out. It would definitely make for a unique looking P5.

Yup, just checked. They are 17" That should make chances of fitment even better.

Oh my bad I thought it was 18" rims. I knew that the 05 models and up have the 5x114 bolt pattern. Two of my friends have 05s. Maybe I can convince one of them to let me test fit the rims and I can report back to you guys. I'll try take pics while i'm at it too!

I just bought a set of Rota Tarmac's (stock on STI's last year) The new STI's have Rota Tarmac II's. They are both 5-114.3. I'll take pics of them once i get them on my car this weekend

Yes they are. Only the '05 STi's have the 5x114.3 lug pattern. All other imprezas have 5x100.

The tarmacs are definitely not the STi's stock wheels.
