Stock Radio with subs

Open glove box,
Gently pull off cross strip from bottom. Its cliped on from the left to the middle and it slides off from the right corner,
remove two screws, (this is the only thing holding the radio)gently tilt towards you..
Dont quote me But I believe bottom cables are the speaker wires of the big plug(Just in case you have Sat Radio, NAV, or IPOD hook up) I can look at mine if you want fro the color code.

I have two kicker 12" cvrs and a kicker 1000.1 amp with a 2 farad cap. its way to loud but i love and i have no more truck space

I think thats to much unless you plan to put Dynomat rowaht ever u call it.

I installed a KENWOOD 1800W pushing a 12 "ALPINE RS. Its hits smooth and clean. But lots of rattle when trunk closed. I think it could sound even better with a custome box. Now I did this just to go over the stock sound, and it did more than I wanted and also did a lot of head turnings. I think I can get a better kick out of them with a better amp and custome box.

NOTE:The speaker is just facing out just for the picture......

what....

you mean to tell me that the stock radio has enough to power to power an amp and sub. I thought you needed an aftermarket cd player for that

can i run two 12" Rockford Fosgate P3D412 with an alpine mrp-m850? i also have two 12" JLs. should i go JLs? is this also way to much to put into a mazda3

i went to a local shop and listened to the shallow Kicker CVR 12" sub.

thats probably what I'm going with. Its $249 with the box, add a 400w alpine mono amp and be done with it. it takes up about 6" depth of either side of the trunk, not bad at all, and it sounds great.
