Just wanted to post pics of my stock plugs after 64k miles. I waited longer than I should have to replace them but am pleased with how they look for the extra miles. i replaced them with NGKs again.

Hard to tell from the pix, but looks like gap might have opened up a bit over time. Did you measure? Curious. I'm guessing you did check the gap on the new ones and corrected any that might not have been right. Hopefully you'll run a lot smoother now. Thanks for sharing.

Hey good point! I'll check the gap on the old ones and report back. Yes I checked the gap on the news ones, all within spec. So far it is smoother yet I went nearly WOT today getting on the freeway in 4th and it hicupped again(hand)

let me ask you guys, whats the recommened gap on our cars on getting a new motor put on and I def need to change the plugs
Thanks!!!

What brand of plug are you going to be running?? I'm running ITV20's and just gapped them to .030 and it runs perfectly with no burps....but before I adjusted...just installing right out of the box for shts and grins...wow big mistake, NO power, burped whenever you boosted from 3k...sucked gas like water...after gap its SOOOO smooth and responsive.

Better coils would be the right answer, but in the real world, with all that gas flyin around

you will be happy with a high quality plug at less than .028
