Stock MSP vs. Stock 2000 Eclipse V6GT

I was just talkin to my friend from college who has the 2000 Eclipse V6GT, he said it has 212 hp and didn't know how much it weighs, he also has the tiptronic, not manual. I haven't raced him yet and i was wondering if u guys new who would win. All i have is the injen intake but depending on how much that weighs idk if i'd win. Anyone know?

My bet is that you will take him. I drove one and they seem slow, torque is there, but still slow. I cant remeber but I think they are a low 16's car? Anyways, you shold win.

Eclipse V6's are almost as fast as GS-T's from before...they hit 60 in under 7 seconds, and finish the 1/4 right around 15 flat I think...They definately beat 16 seconds...

Probably would be close...They have more power, but weigh in a few hundred pounds more...

you should beat him. I've raced a few GT's at the track and they weren't much of a problem. They will get a jump on you if you're not quick bnut second gear pulls like the devil!

I think that if its an auto then you will kill it. I owned a 2001 GT 5 speed before this car and let me say.... THOSE CARS ARE DOGS. And no it doesnt have 212 hp it has 205 for the 2000 and 200 for the 2001 and above due to Cali emissons on all their cars.

Also those cars dynoed at a horrible 145 hp 150 ft. on a 5 speed stock. They are heavy as hell. I mean I have beaten Preludes and Civics but got owned by a SER Spec V when I had all my ground effects and 18s on.

So all in all I think that you would kill it.
