stock ms6 intake

can someone post an under hood pic of a stock speed6 intake. My new car has a polished intake that says speed6 on it and the dealer says its stock but I dont think it is. Does the stock speed6 have a very audible intake at boost? this car sounds amazing and if its stock I am amazed!!

Its gotta be an aftermarket piece. The stock one doesnt say speed6 on it and its not polished its a black plastic box with a rubber hose attached to it going into the back of the engine bay. It also isnt loud like you say it is at boost. Sounds like a cold air intake.

Sounds like you got a Cold Air Intake.

With the stock intake on the car..you can't hear the turbo or bov.

thanks for the info and pics. mine is definitely not stock. It is polished and says mazdaspeed on it so I am assuming this is the Mazda upgraded intake you can get from the dealer. Is this thing any good? Should I replace it with a cp-e intake and BOV?

The Mazdaspeed CAI is actually pretty good from what I hear. And it causes no warranty issues.

Definately the Mazdaspeed CAI, I have had it on mine for the past year and a half...LOVE IT!
