I have seen people selling their stock catback exhaust and all, but I was wondering, is there really a market for our stock exhausts? So many of us have changed our exhausts, and to get a couple dollars for our old ones would be a very nice thing. Any information would help.

mz3 owners are buying them as our exhausts would be their CBE upgrade. $150 - $175 is what I have seen some of them go for...

On the "other" forum. That's where most Mazda3 owners hang out. OEM MS3 CBEs and wheels are pretty sought-after there.

Our stock MS3 exhaust is a good upgrade for regular MZ3's because the piping is about 2.5" and of course they'll gain a little power and have that deeper better sound exhaust.

Yes it will fit 06 MZ3 hatch.

My 2008 MS3 exhaust will fit on my 2005 MZ3 hatch; I know, I've seen it first hand... but I'll sell my stock MS3 CBE instead. =)

When I tried to install it today, it looks as though the cat will have to come off as well as the rest of the exhaust itself. When I fit the exhaust for the MS3 on the cat for the MZ3 , the bends did not match up and as well, the MS3 cat looks a lot longer. Basically what I am trying to say is that it looks as though the cat will have to come off the regular 3 for the MS3 exhaust to fit. Anyone have any luck with this swap?

All you should need to do is unbolt from the second cat, and replace the old with the new unit.... There should be no removale of any cat by replacing the units...

It's Flange/ Muffler/ bends in through the rear exit

I know that doesn't make much sense... check out this link MS Cat Back Exhaust How To Install w/pics
