I have searched and asked this before, but never really got a straight answer. Does our stereo support scrolling track titles. IF so, how do you go about burning a CD to get this feature. Does it have to be a audio CD or an MP3 CD or doesn't it matter? Currently, I use musicmatch 8.0 to burn CDs, what programs do you guys use. If you have the time, could someone please explain in detail each step to get this track title feature. THANKS@!

Yes,

There is an AutoScroll Feature.

I don't know how to do the rest, but turn it on and see what happens. I know that some CD's have text coding on them which enables this function to be used... I've only seen a couple that have this.

audio CDs - you need to burn with CD TEXT

MP3 CDs - track title information will scroll, provided correct Display is selected. read the manual to change the display to ARTIST/TITLE or something similar

i understand you have to have the feature selected on the headunit. does anyone use musicmatch 8.0 to burn and have success with artist/title/track scrolling....

how are you burning the CD? like i said, if you're doing audio CD, you need to enable CD TEXT and input the title and track information. if data CD (mp3), the headunit will read the ID3 tag from the MP3 file automatically.

or just dont use POS software like MusicMatch. Nero++

i HAVE ONE

I HAVE A KENWOOD STEREO A LOWER GRADE BUT IT WORKS THE SAME.

WHEN YOU USE YOUR BURNER, BURN IN A DATA CD OR MP3 FORMAT WHICH EVER YOUR BURNER LABELS IT AS, ALMOST ALL NEW SAY MP3 AND OLDER ONES SAY DATA CD.

TO ADD THE TRACKS, ITS BASICALLY THE FILES, WHEN YOU BURN TO THE MP3 FORMAT IN YOUR COMPUTER IT ASK SONG, ARTIST, ALBUM, CATAGORY AND SO ON. IT WILL READ WHAT EVER IS IN THOSE SPOTS WHEN ON YOUR KENWOOD SYSTEM.

AS FAR AS GETTING IT TO SCAN, I FORGOT HOW THEY SET IT UP NOW FOR THOSE, DONT KNOW WHAT BUTTON THOUGH, ANY OTHER QUESTIONS LET ME KNOW

GEORGE
